Hello There, Mr Caterpillar! Goobie Has Fun with Pebble Art

The half-term holidays have started and Goobie is still tired after the bug he had last week. So today, to keep things gentle, he has collected some large beach pebbles to make Mr Caterpillar. It’s a no-brainer and Goobie did it before losing interest (about 20 minutes).

You only need:

6 or 7 large, flattish pebbles – we got ours from the beach, but garden centres may sell them.
Paint – children’s paint washes off in the rain, so use water-resistant paint if you want it to last
Brushes, sponges etc. – anything to decorate Mr Caterpillar. Goobie ended up finger-painting
Kitchen towel/wipes
Big tray – ideally with sides to contain everything. Ours is from IKEA
And nice patch in the garden for your child to show him off!

Have fun!

Hi, I'm Julia

I love travelling and have been all over the world with my husband, Matt. Going home always sucked. I wanted more – I wanted to live abroad. When my son Goobie was born, I took a career break from publishing books in London. So, when Matt’s job gave us the opportunity to move to Cyprus, we grabbed it with both hands, ready to embrace everything Cyprus has to offer. Follow us as we explore this amazing island, from the beautiful to the baffling, the exciting to the downright embarrassing.
